Manhattan Bus Lane Plan for 34th Street May Be Stuck in Gridlock

Months after Mayor Zohran Mamdani said the city would proceed with a redesign of 34th Street that had been halted by the Trump administration, the plan is no closer to completion.The plan would redesign a busy commercial stretch of 34th Street in Manhattan between Third and Ninth Avenues, in the hopes of speeding up bus service.
