Saks C.E.O. Steps Down as Company Struggles to Pay Down Debt

Saks Global’s executive chairman, Richard Baker, is taking over the luxury retailer he created with the 2024 acquisition of Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.Marc Metrick, who started running Saks Fifth Avenue in 2015, is stepping down as chief executive of Saks Global.
