Mamdani to Unveil Street Safety Plan in Move to Curb Pedestrian Deaths

The plan, Vision Zero Reimagined, is a set of goals that includes speed-capping devices in some cars and reduced speed limits near hundreds more schools.A new plan hopes to eliminate traffic deaths and serious injuries while addressing the rapidly changing mix of cars, trucks, bikes and electric devices that zoom past city pedestrians.
